Nurture Your Business

When we moved into our home two years ago I inherited a garden full of plants I had never seen or heard of before.  I had no clue what to do with these new plants.  So I chopped and pruned.  I re-potted and move around. I fertilized, weeded and watered.  I worked hard.  As you can see from the picture, I had success.

It wasn’t until my plants started to flower that I realized a correlation between my plants and my business.

I started my business three and a half years ago.  It was slow in the beginning.  I tried different things to see what worked.  I opened Twitter and Facebook accounts. I joined networking groups.  I frequent Virtual Assistant Forums.  I sent out newsletters.  I worked hard.

Nothing comes easy.  You need to work it, try different things, move things around, and work hard in order to succeed.  Like my garden, I had to nurture my business in order for it to flourish.

Our next post will explore everyday tips to help your business flourish.
