Remember Your Clients In Writing

My birthday was last week and I received so many birthday wishes by way of Facebook. It was so nice to hear from so many different people. Thank you all for taking the time to write. It truly was appreciated.
In past years, before Facebook was so popular, I would get birthday cards in the mail. This year I received only one. That one card was the most important. Not because it was a special card, but because it was a card that someone took the time out of their busy day to sit down and write.
As I was thinking about that card, I realized how important it is to keep in touch. I thought about my clients and how they would feel receiving a hand written card from me. Maybe a holiday card. Maybe a thank you card for being such a great client. Maybe just a note because I hadn’t heard from them in a while.
If you want to make a positive impression on your clients, think about sending a card. It will really put you front and center. They will appreciate your efforts as it is something most people won’t do.
