Everything In Moderation

Recently I spent some time visiting my daughter and her three sons who live in Pennsylvania.   The older boy, who is six, has chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch, every day.  I decided to try to explain the saying “everything in moderation”.  I told him he needed a variety of fruits and vegetables, dairy and whole grains.  It didn’t go well.  He still wanted his pancakes.

“Everything in moderation” goes for your business, as well.  What type of marketing do you do?  If you do the same thing over and over again, maybe it is time you rethink your plan.  Add another dimension to your marketing and see what happens.  Test the waters with social media, e-newsletters, a coupon campaign, or a contest of some sort.  Better yet, get out there and meet your clients face-to-face.

Everything in moderation means a little bit of everything.  So shake things up a little bit and add some spice to your business.  Replace that peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a turkey club every now and then.  Let me know what great things are happening as a result.
